Like a bad cliche

Well, today was without a doubt a bad cliche–you know, you’ve all seen Sister Act Two or Dangerous Minds–kids laughing, joking, shouting across the classroom, jumping up and dancing.  Sometimes I just want to giggle.  Today, Mr. K was talking about tipping at a restaurant and one of the kids calls out, "that’s not how we roll"  I mean, give me a break!
There was another fight today, but this was just one of those classroom scuffles.  One of the kids has been in two other fights and I think something MAJOR should happen to him so he doesn’t keep getting into things.
About those resolutions:  I behind in my recipes, I’m doing OK on the exercise, and I’m ahead on my books.  I guess I need to hustle butt if I want to be where I want to be in time for E’s wedding and the beach trip.
Going to a basketball game at the school.

About takedeux

In one summer I had a baby who was hospitalized for five weeks, quit my job, and moved back to my hometown. This blog is about starting over.
