What she wore: pink, baby blue and white striped shirt with white collar and cuffs, navy blue pants, navy blue heels.  Comments ranged from "you can dress!" and "looking professional" to "why are you dressed like an old lady?"  Can’t win ’em all.

I think I have to give my self permission to stop reading Watership Down.  I don’t like it–I’m almost to page three hundred and I have no real urge to keep going.  I think it’s clear that I will bog down on this book if I don’t just let it go.  Who knows?  I may pick it up later–what I do know is that now is not the time for me to be reading a 500 pg. book about rabbits.

About takedeux

I am too stubborn to put a book down no matter how much I don\’t like it. If I do.. it starts to gnaw at me until I finish it anyway.

Sometimes you just gotta give up.   WHy finish it if there\’s no real, compelling reason?  Start a new one that you\’ll possibly like better instead.

I concur.  300 pages into it and it still has not grabbed you? I think I hear the book police outside your home with a bullhorn shouting, " PLEASE STEP AWAY FROM THE BOOK!"
What does KM stand for?  I realize that I don\’t even know your name.  Now is that fair?
